PWT provides review and analysis to define goals, objectives, and requirements for implementing a GIS program or project, then details responsibilities, schedules, and tasks required to select, design, develop, install, and implement the GIS components.

Existing data such as environmental resources, utilities, political boundaries, emergency service areas, and parcel data can be referenced to mapping, field surveys, or digital imagery and the GIS database populated with attribute information that fully describes features represented in the graphics data. Applications can then be developed to provide efficient and meaningful analysis of the data.
