JAVA Programmer/Analyst III – Loveland, CO
SUMMARY
Provide senior level programming support for existing software developmental efforts while contributing to new software projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Senior software developer contributing to the full SDLC (software development life-cycle). Perform requirements gathering and analysis, software architecture and design, coding, unit testing, and deployment. Contributes to quality assurance efforts related to software development. Provide leadership in all stages of the SDLC and programming of software development projects using best of breed agile development techniques. Assist in mentoring staff while working closely with project managers and customer representatives including Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors of Science degree from four-year college or university and 4+ years of JAVA development experience using J2SE (JDK’s 4, 5, and 6). An understanding of distributed multi-threaded applications is required. JAVA/Oracle expertise with some exposure to Web technologies and assurance efforts. Two or more years of work experience with the following: Java Swing, working and interfacing applications with Oracle (JDBC with some PL/SQL), JBoss application server. Test driven development using JUnit and SDLC is preferable. Ability to multi-task. The following experience beneficial: Agile development, SOA and Web support, OA.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume, ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

SUMMARY
Personal computer support technician that supports workstations and associated software in a LAN/WAN environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide routine IT customer support in both administrative and technical areas including equipment general maintenance; documentation (technical writing); inventory, product research; budget/procurement support; personal computer and peripheral maintenance support (HW/SW); basic MS Office, Novell GroupWise and other application user support. Collection and organization of IT related resources including; maintaining IT asset inventory (HW/SW) and associated records. Provide conference room equipment setup and support as needed. Assist IT specialists with system problem troubleshooting and resolution determination. Perform installation of various software patches/updates. Provide support for the equipment maintenance program and assist with product research, documentation and recommendations where necessary.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Two+ years of practical work experience providing general IT administration and support. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical and end-user problems in a customer service oriented team environment. Experience installing and maintaining PC OS, applications and associated hardware and peripherals in a LAN/WAN environment; assisting users with IT procedures, system setup and network troubleshooting. Experience with MS Windows 2000, XP and Novell GroupWise applications. Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users.

Pacific Western Technologies, Ltd., (PWT) is looking for a Field Support Staff Member located at the Gilt Edge Mine Superfund Site near Deadwood, SD to perform oversight of the following:
· Subcontractor oversight related to drilling, pressure grouting, and liner installation at the site.
· Perform routine oversight and specific field inspections of remediation activities.
· Collect field data to confirm technical objectives, tracking material quantities, and performance of work in accordance with the design plans and specifications.
· Prepare written daily field notes, daily field reports, and weekly summary reports.
· Other job-related duties as assigned.
Education requirements:
Degree in Geology or Engineering required or a minimum of 5 years experience in quality control and construction management.
Experience:
The Field Support Staff Member should have experience in the following areas:
· Drilling, pressure grouting, slope stability, placement and QA/QC of geosynthetic liners, and OSHA construction health and safety practices.
· 5 years experience related to subcontractor oversight.
· 5 years experience quality control related to inspections of remediation activities; collecting field samples of soil and water; collection of field data to confirm technical objectives, tracking material quantities, and performance of work in accordance with the design plans and specifications.
· Prior experience related to preparation of written daily field notes, daily field reports, and weekly summary reports.
· Superfund experience is preferred.
· OSHA related experience in site health and safety requirements for construction work.
· Good communication skills both written and verbal are required. The ability to establish a successful working relationship with the client, regulatory agencies, and the construction subcontractor is a must.
· Must have completed 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) training and 8-hour refreshers. MSHA Training is strongly preferred.
