Desktop Support Analyst

PWT is currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to support corporate office and remote end users. This is a part-time (less than 25 hours per week) position.
Position Summary:
The Desktop Support Analyst is a professional, team oriented self-starter with a minimum of 1 year Computer Support experience. The Analyst serves the role of providing a Tier One level of customer service and technology support to users and PWT customers. Analysts are expected to provide professional quality customer service, and to positively and accurately resolve or escalate issues.
This position will be responsible for:
- Provide first Tier technical support for PCs, printers and application software
- Support end users on internally used applications
- Resolve problems, recreate problems, troubleshoot and escalate problems as needed
- Interact with people on all levels
- Relate to users on a professional level; provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in team projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of Desktop Support Services and IT Operations department.
- Attention to details and follow through
- Take ownership of customer issues
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with common desktop and laptop hardware.
- Knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and etc)
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS – Windows XP and Windows 7.
- Basic knowledge of networking and server technologies.
- Basic knowledge of printer hardware
- Ability to distinguish between application and system problems
- Able to work well in a strong team environment.
- A minimum of one year computer support experience
- BlackBerry and iPad / iPhone support knowledge is a plus.
- CAD and large format plotting support knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of antivirus systems.
- MTA, MCTS, MCITP or A+ certification is a plus.
Health Physicist
PWT has an immediate opening for a part-time Health Physicist to review plans and procedures in conjunction with oversight of the decommissioning and demolition of a uranium mill in Colorado.
The successful candidate will have proper certification in the area of health physics and 3-5 years experience applied to worker protection at sites with radiation-related hazards. The candidate will update and review health and safety, plans, work plans etc. and will also provide consultation on proper PPE levels and exposure consideration for field oversight workers.
Logistics Support Technician
PWT has an immediate opening for a Logistics Support Technician in Lakewood, CO. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Client Solutions Division and Region and provides a wide variety of administrative and logistical support work involving cleaning and preparation for shipment of furniture and equipment to congressional offices, receiving of furniture and equipment, a/v support, vehicle maintenance, small moves, and furniture and systems furniture set up and tear down.
Responsibilities:
- Performs room set- up and tear down, support functions in conference rooms and other meeting facilities. Obtains furniture from inventory or other locations within the building and reconfigures furniture arrangement in meeting rooms as required to support events.
- Assembles, disassembles and moves furniture located in offices or other rooms as required.
- Handles internal office and conference room moves.
- Makes minor reconfigurations to furniture to systems and furniture workstations using existing inventory.
- Installs keyboard trays, monitor arms, and other ergonomic office equipment.
- Performs vehicle fleet maintenance, refueling, vehicle repairs, and other vehicle maintenance.
- Maintains inventory for Inventory Warehouse. Receives shipments of furniture, computers and other equipment from vendors and offices and ships same to multiple locations through the Region.
- Maintains inventory records in an electronic database.
- Serves as back up to mail room/shipping and receiving clerk.
- Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse to include labeling items being held.
- Takes photos of “new” pieces and uploads to inventory list in electronic database.
- Maintains contacts with key personnel to ensure furniture isn’t missed.
- Assists with the refurbished or repaired furniture for further use.
- Assists with customers coming to look at furniture.
- Cleans, packages and ships furniture.
Requirements:
- 2 – 4 years related experience (furniture assembly, inventory control, shipping/ receiving, etc.)
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Must be proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Must have a clean DMV record.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks on time.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Have the ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Some travel may be required.
