U.S. DOE, Western Area Power Administration IT Support Services

PWT was the prime and sole contractor providing IT support services to the U.S. Department of Energy Western Area Power Administration (Western) in Lakewood, Colorado, and continues to provide services as a team member on the follow-on contract. We provide several specialized categories of IT services to Western. Among the most important services is cyber security. Like any governmental organization, Western is consistently and aggressively targeted by hackers.  Our team adheres to Computer Internet Security, National Institute of Standards and Technology, DOE, and National Security Agency standards to protect Western’s IT assets that includes three security layers to ensure redundancy.
